Much sympathy is felt with Mr. and Mrs. Francis, Teglan, on the death of their eldest son, Harold Francis, who died after a lingering illness on Tuesday.

Deceased joined the 17th Lancers early in the war, and developed pneumonia, and later tuberculosis. The interment was in the burial ground at Ebenezer, Llanedy, and the officiating ministers were the Rev. R. Trevor Davies (pastor) and the Rev. J. Mostyn Owen.
