The many friends of Private Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Morris stationmaster, Henllan, well be sorry to hear of their friend’s death in France last week, after a short attack of pneumonia.

Private Morris had been amongst us in Garnant, lodging with Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bowen, Nantymain, for the last ten years.

Previous to enlistment he was employed as a clerk at the Gwaun-cae-gurwen Collieries. We extend our sympathy to the family in their sad bereavement.
