Mrs. Macfarlane, Plasgwyn Terrace, Penygroes, was officially informed on Friday last that her husband, Lce.-Corpl. John Macfarlane, had died from wounds in hospital “somewhere in France.” The sympathy of the community of Penygroes is with Mrs. Macfarlanes and her two little daughters.

Her father had met his death also while fighting for the freedom of the world.
