THE SOLDIERS HYMN.
A new publication which has already been received with favour throughout a wide area is the “Soldiers Hymn,” written by Mr. Ivor Elias, Ammanford, and composed by Mr. D. Mathews, Fforestfach. It has been dedicated to the Y. M. C. A., among the members of which it is obtaining a wide circulation.
Copies can now be obtained in Tonic Sol-fa and also in Old Notation, and the stirring lilt of the music, as well as the splendid words, should make it very popular wherever it is sung.
