NATURE, THE QUEEN.
When God made Nature His own queen,
And threw the mantle o’er her form
To hide the miracle between
All mind and matter e’er ‘tis born.
So sympathy, a divine chord,
Acts like rays upon the earth,
That soul and soul, of one accord,
Can be the spring of a rebirth.
And God, the great Soul of all life,
Made Nature His own queen and wife,
To mother all the life on earth,
And Spring the season for the birth.
In this old word, from day to day,
The more you do the more you may;
Love, Light, Sympathy, these are the flowers of human genius;
God the fountain head of all knowledge.
Knowledge is light. Darkness is ignorance.
