We regret to announce the death of Private Rosser Davies, killed in France.

Private Davies was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Davies, Brynhyfryd, Penybank, and prior to enlistment was with the Royal North West Mounted Police in Canada.

He left to mourn his loss a widow and two children, with whom the deepest sympathy has been expressed.

A memorial service was held at Pisgah on Sunday night, when the Rev. T. Roberts officiated. Deceased’s wife and parents wish to thank the inhabitants of the district for the kind sympathy in their sad bereavement.
