Clarence Meyrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Meyrick, Station Road, Tirydail, has just received promotion.
After some time in the thick of it in France, he was disabled and sent to hospital at Lincoln. He has been on short furlough. His next orders were for Rhyl, where he soon earned the distinction of sergeant. A sergeant and only 18 years old merits our heartiest congratulations.
