Change of Time  — The advance of the clocks one hour was effected in Ammanford without any hitch, and on all hands the people seem satisfied with the arrangement, and agree it will be no hardship if it is carried out every summer.

The hooters at the collieries called the workers at the new time, and call other places of business, the schools, railway  trains, and Post Office were acting in accordance with it.

The only incident was an old lady arriving at morning chapel on Sunday----------
