At Ebenezer Chapel, on the night of Wednesday, 14th inst., a reception concert was given to Private Harold Davies, R. A. M. C., who was home on leave, and he was the recipient of the usual present.

On Saturday evening, at the house of Mr. Wm. Fowler, chairman of the Bettws Reception Committee, presentations were made to Sergt. D. Francis, A. S. C., and Private T. Evans, R. W. F., who were home from the trenches for short leave.

Private Glyn Williams, R. W. F., son of Mr. John Henry Williams, 75 Margaret Street, Ammanford, has written home to say that he has won the first prize offered to his battalion for bombing, and second prize offered to the brigade.
