 Captain C. A. Morgan, Welsh Regiment, son --- H. Morgan, Haulier, Tirydail, who ---W--- home from France wounded, and ---W--- --med to that country, is now sick in hospital.

Balance sheet of the Penybank Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Fund for the six months ending ---W---er 3rd shews amount received “36 ---W--- disbursed £20 19s. 6d., leaving a total of £15 2s. 8d.

---W--- has been received that Private Tom ---W--- R. F. A., of 20, Walter Road, Ammanford, was admitted to hospital in France on -------r 4th, and expired next day from ---w--- trouble. Before enlisting he was employed as a cabinet maker and machinist ---w--- Messrs. Rees Jones and Co., Quay Street, with whom he remained eight or ten ---w---. He used to reside in Colonel Road, Bettws.

A reception concert was held at Pisgah Chapel, Penybank, to welcome Private Mor--- the Dragoon Guards, who has come ---ounded for the second time. Mr. ---w--- Davies. Park, was chairman, and ----ntributing to the programme were ---aud Evans, Llandebie, who gave a ---w--- recitation; Miss Evans, her sister, ---w---; Mr. Jas. Woodfield, comedian; ---w--- Roberts, and Mr. Griff. Davies, ------k.

---w--- has been received by Mr. and Mrs. ---w--- Williams, Victoria, New Road, ----ry, that their son, Private Peter Williams ---w--- the R. W. F., has been missing in ---w--- since November 13th. Mr. and Mrs. ---w--- who are greatly concerned with the ---w--- and three sons in the Army. 

One of sons Private D. J. Williams, has been invalided out of the service, wounded, after taking part ---w--- -----s engagements on the Western front.

---w--- son, Private E. Williams, of the Welsh ---w---, saw service in the Dardanelles, ---w--- the moment stationed in Egypt. He ---w--- ---er  welter-weight boxer.

The missing son gave much promise as an artist. For ---w--- three years he was employed with Messrs. Rees Jones and Son, Quay Street, Ammanford, and a drawing by him, being an ------nt of his own photo, was exhibited ---n’s window some time ago.
