A local war prisoner in Westphalia, Germany, Private Lawless, 1st Welsh regiment, has written Mr. W. Dewse that he had received parcel dated January 15th, and everything was in good condition and suitable for eating.
He had not yet received the two dated December 31st and January 3rd. he expected it was owing to the change of his address, and they might turn up later on. He hoped Mr. Dewse got his last letter stating what he wanted particularly.
He thought bread and cheese were the chief articles of food. They were having very good weather.
