LLANDEBIE.


Two sons of Mr. D. Evans, Red Lion Hotel, Llandebie, viz., Nathaniel Evans and Herbert Lewis Evans, who have been for some years in Calgary, Canada, as well as another son, David Evans, have joined the Colours.

The two first-named have been in training in Canada for the last nine or ten months, and David, who joined the R. A. M. C. about four months at Swansea and Abergavenny. Tudor Evans, the youngest son, who is in school at Swansea, has joined the Boy Scouts.

Mr. Evans’ daughter Kate is a nurse engaged with Dr. Elsworthy, Swansea. His second daughter, Mary, has been trained as a nurse at St. Pancras, London, and although she would like to go to France, has been drafted to Cardiff Hospital to attend upon the wounded there.

She is at present at home enjoying a short holiday.
