20 year medal for Benny

For the second year running Ammanford Fire Station have won the Station Efficiency Shield competition, and at the station dinner at Llanelly last Friday they were presented with the trophy and a cheque of seven guineas for their welfare fund by the Chief Fire Officer, Mr. D. Gerald Jones. Coun. B. G. Williams (above) received his 20 years service medal at the dinner.
