FIREMEN WASH AWAY OIL AND PETROL FROM ROADWAY.

   
   

FIREMEN clear up the debris after an accident at Cwmaman Road Garnant, on Thursday morning. Roger Weale (75) of Brynderwen, Bronllys, Brecon, the driver of the Triumph Acclaim car suffered a fractured arm and bruising in the collision with the Ford Escort van.

His passenger Esme Lilian Weale (73) suffered fractured ribs and bruising. Van driver Vernon John Lewis (35) of 104, Wind Street, Ammanford, received cuts to his head and legs. All three were taken to Morriston Hospital. The only one still detained on Monday was Mrs. Weale, whose condition was described as comfortable.
