The Clerk reported the receipt of communication from the Regional Commissioner of the National Fire Service, stating the he offered no objection to the appointment of Councillor Tom Davies (sculptor) as Fire Guard Assistant Staff Officer, and of Councillor John Llewellyn Rees as Fire Guard Depot Superintendent.
The letter was referred to the Ammanford and Cwmamman Councils, as in regard to the first appointment, and it was unanimously agreed to confirm the appointment of Councillor J. Llewellyn Rees as Depot Superintendent
