Applications are invited from persons over 41 years of age or otherwise ineligible for Military Service for the appointment of Fire Guard Depot Superintendent; at a Salary of £4 15s 0d, per Week.
The person appointed will be required to assist in organising the Fire Prevention Service in the Urban District of Cwmamman and in the administration of same in accordance with the relevant Orders and to carry out such incidental duties as may from time to time be assigned to him by the Council.
A knowledge of Welsh is essential. The appointment, which will not carry reservation from Military Service, is temporary, and will be subject to a month's notice on either side.
Applications, endorsed “Depot Superintendent,” stating age, qualifications, and experience together with copies of two recent testimonials, must be received by the undersigned before noon of Friday, the 28 th November, 1941.
