The fire-watchers of Lower Quay Street, Ammanford ; have been provided with an excellent Centre for their duties.
A room in the premises which was formerly occupied by the late Mr. John John, bookseller, has been placed at their disposal. Thanks to the lively interest shown by members, the room has been redecorated, furnished and supplied with the necessary articles for the success and comfort of the watchers on duty.
Volunteers are required, and a hearty invitation is extended to friends of Lower Quay Street who feel that they would like to add their names to the list of fire-watchers.
