At the monthly meeting of the Ammanford Urban council on Wednesday, in last week, it was decided to appoint a Sub-Committee to deal with a fire spotting scheme in the town, and further, to appoint two unemployed men to make a survey of premises to be included in the scheme.
It is proposed to call a public meeting later with a view to invoking general co-operation .
